So you’ve been searching online recently and are wondering can i bring my dog to Hawaii on vacation? well the answer is yes you can! but like all countries you visit with your pooch there are rules you need to be aware of.

If your travelling with a service dog, don’t worry most airlines allow service dogs on board, however Hawaiian airlines do recommended you give them 48 hours advance notice.
Your also need to provide documentation to the airline that your dog has been trained and is actually a service dog. as mentioned before your service dog will need an health certificate and this is required by the Hawaii Department of Agriculture.
When boarding the plane with your service dog there are some things you need to be aware of which are listed below…
- Your dog must be well behaved and not be disruptive
- Your dog will need to remain on the floor and can not obstruction
- The Airline will not provide food, water, pillows or blankets
